US In-home Care Provider issues employee badges with Badgy
Informing clients and their families about the identity and function of the person who is providing their care is important for clients’ safety and well-being. The care service provider Visiting Angels in Port Orchard, WA, uses a Badgy card printer to issue staff ID badges with a photograph for easier recognition of the caregivers.

The card printing solution, Badgy200 from Evolis, was purchased in 2016. Badgy is an all-in-one ID badge solution that comes with card personalization software and a library of card designs and consumables. It is the perfect package for small businesses or associations.

Around 5 to 10 cards are issued each month. The badges are printed in color and contain the company logo, the name and photograph of the care giver. Employee badges help to inform clients
The employees at Visiting Angels wear identification badges. In order to speed up the process of issuing ID badges to all 100 staff members as well as new employees, and to add ID photographs, the management decided to purchase a plastic card printer which would enable the administrative staff to issue a badge for a new employee in only a few minutes.
Emiley Stevens, Office Manager at the Port Orchard, WA office explains: “Our old badges did not have photos. We found it eased our clients’ minds when they recognized photos of familiar faces, especially clients with memory issues.”
