Real-name personalized warranty certificate: an important tool for false tooth tracking
Dentures are removable false teeth made of acrylic (plastic), nylon or metal. Any false tooth shall meet its specifications registered as medical device before it is delivered from the factory. It is delivered with a warranty certificate inside its package. This certificate is an important document that demonstrate the authenticity and quality of material, and it is legally effective. The challenge: making laminated paper card certificate is time consuming
Before adopting the Badgy card printer, the company issued warranty certificates by laminating paper cards. The QC inspector made them after checking the the quality of each false tooth.
Each certificate must contain personalized information, such as: hospital (clinic) designation, physician’s name, patient’s name, false tooth material, tooth position map, date of manufacture, shelf life, code, etc. Thus, the inspector had to write all the information on each certificate , which was time consuming and inefficient. The handwriting not only gave a fluctuating look, but also affected the brand image.
Therefore, the denture supplier looked for an easy and quick solution to personalize the warranty certificates.
Desktop card printer improves efficiency
In 2019, the denture supplier started using Badgy100 to print the warranty certificates, thanks to Badge Studio, the card design software delivered with the printer. All cards are initially pre-printed with fixed information in color and the personalized information are then printed by Badgy100.
