Edit > How to modify/print barcodes?
To display information in a barcode format, the barcode font must be installed on your PC. This font is available from installation. A barcode is a text object that is displayed with a barcode font. The display settings, although identical to those of text objects, must be configured to optimize font size and legibility.
Display barcode data
The value of a barcode can be displayed thank to common alphanumerical characters embedded in a text object that is linked to the barcode. Modify barcode display
Select the barcode to be modified and click Modify. The following windows will appear. You can configure the following settings:
Field name This setting will not be printed on badges. You can edit the name to make it more consistent in the header of your Excel column that displays your barcodes. | | | |
| Expand/Shrink You can select the height and length of the areas covered by the object. | | | | | | Drag You can drag the object to any direction. | | | |  | Bring to Front/Move to Back You can select on which layer the object will be displayed, with regards to other objects. | | | |  | Moving speed on the screen Sets the speed for the three above features: Choose Slow for precise configuration or Fast for faster operation. | | | |  | Fonts and layout These buttons trigger a window that will let you configure fonts (font type and format) : Bold, underlined, front color) and text layout (left, center, right) Barcodes can also be displayed horizontally.
